I had been searching for a good deal on this thing since I played it at Sam Ash somewhat recently and here it was. Despite being somewhat skeptical from hearing mixed reviews about certain stores on eBay, this shop calmed any worry I had. Great treasure at an amazing price, beyond quick shipping, and ensured protection upon the item (there was a sea of tightly packed packing paper in the box, it was insane). My vihuela arrived safely and got to playing immediately. Thank you JPI !

Receive product just as advertised. I’ve purchased tools in the past were other vendors, just threw everything in a box, and sometimes product has been damaged. This seller took great care and packaging my Snap on electric impact with battery which is important because of the weight of the product. Look forward to future business and highly recommend the seller!

    The Underdog of Marshall Heads

If you want an awesome amp then pick this up used for super cheap, and pair it with a nice speaker cab. I have mine going through a 2x12 with v30s and it sounds killer. If you like rock/metal (or anything with distortion) you will like this amp. The FX sound great imo, ignore cork sniffing pedal snobs. It also makes a great pedal platform because of how pristine the clean channel is. While pristine, gain wise the clean channel is very sterile, so it sounds a lot better with a mild OD or blues drive sort of pedal to give you a little grit and growl. The upside though is if you run this as a pedal platform, you will have crystal clear delays/reverbs. The OD1 w/ gain at 10 will get you a crunchy metal tone so long as you have high output pickups. I don't, so I use the OD2 with the gain ...

  • Mr. Marshalls amp head

I love the effects, digital as they are in this wounderful and powerful amp head. The particular amp head that I bid upon and won, has a pretty severe and undisclosed malfunction - its master gain control knob is loose from the amp face (not connected to the face, just free floating in the head) but Im not that much into death-metal, so I will let that slide. This amp head was such a great bargain, I can overlook this. I play other styles that dont require distortion and this aint no tube amp head, anyways. Another major drawback is that the cooling fan makes an obnoxious sound for a couple of minutes til it gets going good, and it then runs silent (Big fat hairy deal). All in all, its a top notch amplifier brain, the best Ive ever had. I am very pleased with my purchase.

  • Marshall JCM900 4100

Overall, it's a great head for people on a budget. I bought it to pair it with my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier head. The clean channel is awesome. Crystal clear cleans. Crank up the gain and you have that classic rock distortion. Now here's the dirty about the dirty channel. It sounds ok. Not a sound you'd expect to come from a tube Marshall. It doesn't have the clarity it should have. It'll sound fine if you're just playing power chords. But if you want to play arpeggios or anything it'll sound dull and droning. I use the clean channel with the gain cranked for distortion and I use the dirty channel for my clean sound. A little unorthodox but it sounds better that way. All in all, its a great head to pair with another. As you probably won't find a single head that you're getting the ...

  • Great amp. Lots of power.

I bought this amp a little while ago it does just what I need it to. It has on board effects and distortion, but I usually just run the effects from my pedal board. The biggest up-side to this amp though, is the amount of output power it has. Sure it might not have as much as some of the bigger Marshalls out there, but it deffinently has some kick. Plus, you get awesome, Marshall quality tone. If you are someone who needs more output at a smaller price, I highly recommend this amp for you (Although if you have a little extra doe, you should look into the Marshall JVM410JS, I think that's what I'm going for next).

  • Mg100 was a good selling tactic for Marshall

The amp head does boast highly prized features, but it does not offset the cons presented by its size, weight (for those who have to continually gig it), and sensitivity of its effects (a bit of a task to dial in the delay). I will not complain however about its ability to combine the effects; offering both a clean, clean rock (which is quite loud), and an overdrive channel all linked over to the effects. Likewise, it proved to be a reliable amp head, as wells as produce high volume (with its loud cooling fan). Overtime, though, one realizes that it is not the ideal sound (tone clarity) they think of for electric guitar. It was a good selling point for Marshall (who could beat the price, advertising, and look at the time?), but as you can see due to the above cons, it just wasn't worth ...
