    Efficient and works out of the box (no drivers necessary)

    Since this is ThunderBolt 3, it works right out of the box. If you already have your computer setup and properly configured with your manufacturer's standard ThunderBolt drivers, you won't have to do anything extra to get this working. Adds no extra load or lag to your displays. This is because TB already carries a video signal automatically (i.e. via DisplayPort) along with data, so no encoding is necessary. Also, since the output is HDMI, it will convert that for you as well on the fly. So with those two things combined (no extra drivers and no additional CPU overhead), this is a great way to setup external monitors for your TB3 capable Mac or Windows PC.
