    Love the product! The Lock feature is a joke though.

    I bought the product for the lock feature. However, if the board if pulled off and the batteries removed, or the factory reset button is pushed it will cancel the code out. The thermostat is in a open area that anyone can change the settings. I found a way around it with the (7) day programming. I simply used the periods in the day (morning, day, etc.) to have the setting go back to where it was. The tendency was late at night around 11pm the thermostat would be put to full blast. I allowed them to to that and simply programmed the "night" to kick on at 12:30am, cutting the temp back to where it was. They have yet to complain since LOL

    Low light

    This product just gets an average rating. The plus side is it is very compatible with many systems. The documentation is adequate. The programming functions are convenient. The downside is the display. Most thermostats are in hallways thus this model is difficult to read. The display should be better designed. Thus it gets just an average rating.

    Very happy with Purchase

    I was looking for a thermostat that had a lock-out feature and came across this one. At first I was not sure about it since I had never heard of Lux. It was very easy to install which was a plus. It came with all the hardware that is needed to install. What I like the most is the user interface. It was very easy to understand and I almost didnt need the manual to get it started. The basic setup is straight forward, it is so easy that if I need to adjust anything later I wont need the manual. The manual that came with it is just for the basic features, for my purpose I needed to know how to use the lock-out feature in which I had to download the full manual from the internet. It did not bother me to much but others might be put off by this. I dont like to have a lot of paper around so ...

    Excellent 7-Day Programmable Thermostat. Lots of functions, but easy to use for simple applications. Has COPY function that simplifies programming. Downloadable User Manual is very clearly written.

    Great Value with lots of features

    Easy to program and setup. Advanced features require the instructions to setup but its not difficult. Easy to install as connections are on the base plate and the thermostat snaps on top.
