        Worth the purchase

        This camera is perfect for renters, or home owners who don’t want to make the camera permanent with wiring, or don’t want to mess with hard wiring. The doorbell works perfectly in sync with our alexas, and you can set motion detection to different sensitivity based on your location. The unit does take a total of 8 hours to charge, which is a downside. But the battery does seem to last a couple weeks. There are some phone connectivity issues, but our other video doorbell was similar.

        Expensive! With a weak daytime camera.

        First off, this doorbell is HUGE. It's about the size of a small car and you screw it onto your door frame. Now picture that....with a pretty blue ring around the button. The video during daylight hours, especially when the sun is shining right on the area where the doorbell is pointed at is so washed out that you basically get a white screen. When you get a motion alarm and go to view it, the video processes for about a minute before you can actually see it and by that time, who knows what might have happened. Also, live view takes forever to connect, but once it does it's kinda cool. I like that you can talk through it. I use it to mess with my dog and stray cats in the area. Night vision is good on it though. There is also a $3 monthly fee to store videos on the cloud...for ONE ...

        Have not used it yet because of extra parts needed.

        The product came in great shape. I have not tried it yet because of the previous owner has release the owner ship to me so that I can program it to my wi- fi.

        Ring's the thing.

        It took me a while to load apps, charge the Ring's battery, but simple to install. Had to buy an indoor Ring ringer, extremely easy to add to the mix. Even if the app isn't active, when motion is detected, a Chinese-chime-like sound occurs on my laptop and/or phone. Nice addition.

        Great Product.

        The only addition would have been to have internal recording, otherwise, I like it. I can view all activities, "live" or go back and check for any day, via my phone or tablet.
