        Asus VG248QE review

        Monitor is amazing, with a clean and sturdy look. However, for any buyer you should know you can only attain 144hz through a DisplayPort cable. Four stars only because the image color needs to be messed with a little bit and I feel like the control panel could be designed to be navigated better. At full price I don’t think I would of purchased this monitor, but at a discount this is one of the best 144hz monitors you can get. I also think this Asus has better image quality than its rival BenQ.

        Monitor came damaged without power cord.

        I wouldn’t have minded a couple dead/stuck pixels but the whole side of the monitor displays red vertical lines especially in anything other than night view mode. Wasted my money and trying to pay for a return would defeat the purpose of me buying this. Was run on 3 separate computers problems happens on all three as well as on each input (hdmi, dvi, DP) all have the same problem. If it’s just a loose display cable I could fix it but it looks like a dying panel

        The gamer’s best. Great image quality!

        Bought this monitor after doing a search online of “best gaming monitors”. The picture quality is spot on. The height adjustment and swivel are great to have. It has a very high refresh rate (144 hz) so motion blur is nonexistent. It even has built in speakers ( although I am using my Boston Acoustics speaker system. ) Has HDMI, DVI and Display Port connections on it. You won’t be dissapointed when you have this gorgeous monitor on your desk. You’ll love the size of the screen and superior image quality. I’m glad I bought mine!

        ASUS monitor easy install and delivers a high quality display.

        ASUS VG248QE 24" monitor provides a quality product, easy assembly, and intuitive controls and a reasonable price. Matter of fact, less expensive than some of the comparable well known monitors. Shipping was very reasonable and delivery was early. I assembled and installed easily. Configured my computer for a second monitor and was up and running in less than an hour. I am very happy with picture quality and refresh rate. The screen rotates easily to vertical display (which needs easy monitor config. adjustment on your part) for viewing or editing documents, especially useful for 17" legal documents. I highly recommend the ASUS VG248QE for gaming, office, or home use.

        ASUS Monitor

        VERY good image quality; HUGE screen; easy to assemble base. Base swivels, screen can be viewed in portrait or landscape but the thing that made me select this one is the height adjustable (up and down) plus the tilt. Wearing bifocals this is essential! Many monitors do not have the height adjustment and I find this ridiculous - such a simple thing to do. Movies are great on this monitor - we do not do gaming so cannot speak to this but I am sure it is just as good. Only downside: we have a VGA desktop and the box included the DVI-i (I think that is what it is called) so I had to buy a HDMI cable to connect. Not being computer savvy this took research so I would even know WHAT to do. Time wasted and if this were explained in the description would have saved me much headache. All in all ...
