      Hard to fit on.

      These clips are hard and dangerous to put between two pieces of Lionel O gauge track. One must push very hard and that can lead ton getting cut by either the clip or the sharp edges of the track/track ties. I had to adjust the little "wings"on the clips so that they could properly grab the track's "ties" in order for them to do what I bought them to do. And even after bending the wings, I had to use a small hammer to get the clips all the way on. Now I'm worried how dangerous it will be to get them off! I'd call these track clips a poor excuse for a Lionel product in the year 2016 for O gauge track that was designed 85 years ago!

      Lionel track clips. Skip it.

      I bought these as a solution to placing track under my Christmas tree. The clips just slip into place. They really don't hold the track. They easily slip out. On the first test run with the train the track came apart enough to keep the train from going forward. Not Lionel's best design. Not what I expected.
