It was shipped in a Manila envelope with “DO NOT BEND” on it, between two pieces of cardboard which provided some support/protection but probably not enough as it could still be bent and clearly did.

That's not very sturdy. I contacted the seller the day I opened it, but the seller didn't respond. After 3 days of waiting for a response with no results, I initiated a return request. The seller finally got back to me and wasn't very polite.
