Convenient but acquired taste is necessary
I haven't had this coffee maker for a long time, but I did read reviews, and they did warn me that the coffee flavor would not be as good a a drip carafe style coffee maker. This machine has potential 12 oz cup brewing capability and that's why I bought it. Plus it's footprint is much smaller than my previous coffee maker. I have been trying different brands of pods, different water levels and the Strong setting, and I have finally found what I like the best. But even at the best settings, I can still taste some bitterness that I couldn't taste with my carafe maker. But I can live with it.I haven't had this coffee maker for a long time, but I did read reviews, and they did warn me that the coffee flavor would not be as good a a drip carafe style coffee maker. Love it except for the inconvenience when using adapter
Easy to use if everyone who uses it uses either pods OR grounds. It is a hassle to take the insert in and out for every cup of coffee you make if one person in the household uses pods. I ordered the basket for grounds, and it works well with it, but again, not if you have to take the insert out every time. As for the coffee maker itself, it works great. It is so easy to remove the pitcher to add water. It brews quickly and the coffee is great. I am now going to see if I can find a differed adapter that fits in the insert without having to remove it every time. Easy to use if everyone who uses it uses either pods OR grounds. Well worth the money
Item was purchased to replace one that quit working after descaling. Contacted company and they said this happens infrequently and simply to unplug the appliance and plug it back in. The old one is still working after following their instructions, but we like this Keurig model so well that we are keeping it as the price was very reasonable. My only "complaint" about this coffee maker is that it does tend to spit coffee and needs to be cleaned up on a daily basis, but I consider that to be a small price to pay for a fresh cup of coffee.Item was purchased to replace one that quit working after descaling. This Kuerig K-Supreme seems to be great....
This Kuerig K-Supreme seems to be great. I needed more water capacity than my K Express has!!! Plus, you can get extra pitchers for the side, which I did. Great for when you have many guests, so the water doesn't run out and you can refill it easily and quickly. The new 5 puncture method seems to work well. Even on off-brand pods I've had no problems. Also, I needed the water refill to be on the LEFT side, like it is... pay attention to where YOU need it to be for ease and visability. This Kuerig K-Supreme seems to be great.
