The only downside was the international shipping service. It's not the seller's fault, but I must mention that the transaction was almost ruined due to errors on their part. Everything was very messy. I don't have much experience with DHL, but another transaction I made with a similar product using a different carrier was better.

        Great teaching tool for middle school science during homestay.

        We've had a lot of fun learning anatomy and physiology by putting together the visible man. At first my grandson didn't want to do this project but as we got into it he became excited. Pretty sure we've taught him a few years in advance and he should pass his next few years of anatomy pretty easily. If you want to paint any of the internal organs, etc you will need model paint. we cheated by using some watercolors we had at the house and mixed it with a little white base paint we had left over from painting a room. Highly recommended

        Vintage learning kit

        I learned the basics of anatomy from this kit when I was 10 years old. Now that I'm older, hopefully wiser, and more experienced with model building, it's a treat to revisit this one. I'm certain that many in the current medical field started out with these in one form or another, and there's still a lot to be learned from it to this very day. Between modern model detailing items and medical advances since these kits were originally made, it's a new joy to really liven it up and consider what future developments may come about, and the kit itself has a great deal of accuracy for the systems and organs represented.

        entertaining learning

        While it seemed to be more like playing like puting a model together, infact the learning experence was beyond any different form of educational tool. It was fun but at the same time he had to study manual to see the details like vein placement and internal organs. This is something I would recormend to friends, family and other educators.

        Didn't realize i needed to paint all the nerves and vessels, veins onto the plastic. Rather tedious. Figured it would be stickers or done from factory. Neat item though.
