      Quick Books Pro vs PeachTree Small Business

      I've been using Peachtree Small Business Accounting since 1998 & currently using vs: 2006. I thought it's about time I moved to a later, newer accounting program. QuickBooks being the giant in this field, I thought I'd give it a chance. I run a small service business. I have no products or inventory, I have no payroll. All I have are receivables and payables. Pretty simple. I always thought PeachTree was to sophisticated and too much accounting program for my needs. I thought, OK go with something most small businesses are using: QuickBooks. I did not quit PeachTree cold turkey. I ran both programs simultaneously for a bit more then 2 months. I've decided that for my purposes PeachTree is a better program for me. Maybe it's because I after 18 years I know the program pretty well. But, I ...
