      WORTH THE UPGRADE? For me Yes.

      The Apple Trackpad 2 improves upon the first. It has a couple more tricks up its sleeve but still feels familiar. I needed the extra couple of features like the one touch hold and move. I don't have a mouse at my desk anymore. This seems way more intuitive once you've learned the gestures. I'm sure programming one of the new Logitech Masters offer similar options. For me, the trackpad offers a better zoom than anything else. Pinch in or Push out. The best. The increased surface area is great and the texture is a little different. I like it. Great purchase. Looks great at my work desk.

      Doesn't seem to be my thing, so far

      I thought I'd try a trackpad instead of a mouse on my iMac (just to see if I'd like it any better than the trackpad on my old PC portable (which I just barely learned to tolerate)), but really the mouse still reigns supreme for me. (Magic Mouse, love it; also love Apple's extended keyboard.) That said, I will give it some more time, but it just seems to get in the way of what I can do much more easily with the mouse. Maybe I will yet find some things that it's better at? Or it will improve with use/age?

      Great trackpad if you're already playing in the walled garden

      If you're in the apple ecosystem, this is a great addition to a mac desktop setup. I love having this on my desk to speed up photo and document formatting with gestures. High resolution touch sensing with easy to use and well documented APIs for those who want to code up their own little control program to use the trackpad past the built in OSX features.

      A great Apple Product.

      What can I saw, it is made by Apple for Apple. I have 3 of these but wanted gray one to match the excellent gray full size keyboard. These will actually attach to you mac with a cable in case bluetooth is wonky, and it is on old Mac Pro's with USB 3 cards and anything attached to it..

      Best Trackpad

      I have been in the computer world using laptops for 20 years now. I have used windows, Mac, and Chromebook trackpads and Apple has never had anyone come close to theirs before. This trackpad takes the amazing design and makes it stand alone! It is amazing and well worth the value. The only thing that would make it better is Touch ID support.
