    Excellent clean tube tone in a very portable di unit.

    I love my VTB-2B! As an upright and electric bassist I take it to gigs, sessions and rehearsals and it makes everything sound better. For years, I have held down a weekly gig on upright bass with a solid state house amp. Since using the VTB-2B on the gig, every note is more clear and audible to the audience. I get more love from the audience after my bass solos because they can actually hear me with the VTB-2B! The only drawback to the design is that the 1/4” out bypasses the tube. If you want to introduce a tube in front of an amp, you will need an XLR to 1/4” converter or the amp will have to accept an XLR input.
