    If you want a reliable, professional quality image scanner, the Workforce Pro GT-S50 is ready for duty in any busy office environment, with a 75-page feeder and a daily duty cycle of up to 1200 sheets. Scan business cards, rigid ID cards, forms, graphics, and anything else you need to digitize. The machine even scans both sides of one sheet in just one pass in color, grayscale, or bi-tonal. Event Manager software lets you customize jobs by specifying resolution, file output type, and image type, and you have the option to launch the scan straight into another application. The LCD display screen even lists the job queue by title, rather than by number, making it easy for you to organize and manage your scans.

      Compact, easy to use, workhorse

      Borrowed this scanner from a friend and loved it. I was able to find an affordable, gently used one and am very happy with the purchase. I have a couple thousand photos to scan; the scanner accepts every size and offers wide resolution choices. So far, I've been able to get by with 200-300 resolutions and I'm satisfied with the outcome. It is easy to set up and use...at this price, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering doing a photo scanning project. It would be great for document scanning as well (although I haven't tried it yet) and I look forward to using this product for a long time.

      Scanner

      Got to replace same model. Plugged in Rollers need to be replaced— so much for low use— Page stop does not work— sensor arm is broke— the same issue I had with the current unit, the reason I was replacing. Unit squeezed like a rat. Hopefully the new $75.00 rollers I ordered will fix it. Are these things tested before selling? Disappointed

      Great Work Horse

      Great Works Horse of a document scanner and is Twain Compliant. If you have document feed problems it might be the Roller needs to be replaced. If it has streaks you need to clean the scan window. It does Color and Grey Scale very well.

      Solid Workhorse of a Scanner

      After nine years and a lot of use, my Epson GT-S50 scanner finally died. I immediately bought another one, used, I had liked it so much. It is simple to use, sturdy, & reliable. For black and white, gray scale, or color, from business cards to legal and larger (it can scan documents a wide as 8.5" and up to at least 20" or so, maybe longer, it does a great job. I rarely gush about a piece of hardware, but this is my workhorse scanner that I literally cannot do without.

      Too much machine for my needs.

      I haven't learned to save documents in the preferred file and I have not learned how to save multiple pages in the same file. Maybe it doen's have these features...I shall find out. If it doesn't, well; I bought a machine that spits out the documents but It's not exactly what I thought I was buying. But for the right purpose, I believe its a great machine.
