- This is a smallish novelty book with flexible cloth covers in, the shape of an egg. The book is in Very Good- condition and, was issued without a dust jacket. The purple cloth covers have, silver gilt lettering and decorations to the front cover of the, book. The foredge of the front cover has been folded back a, bit. "Dwig's first comic strip was Home, Wanted for Tags, a daily/Sunday strip for the McClure Newspaper, Syndicate, which ran from 1910–1919. His longest-running strip, was Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn (1918–1931) , which used more than, a half dozen of Mark Twain's characters but employed very, little content from his novels. \Dwig began School Days circa, 1909 as a single panel, and it eventually evolved into a Sunday, strip with a storyline about school kids that continued until, c. 1932 (including under the titles Ophelia's Slate, The School, Days of Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn, and Golden Days). - a***s (83)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseExpected delivery 1/31-2/6. Received on 2/1. Outstanding! I have never received a better packed book. Outstanding! Described as 'Very Fine'; to my untrained eye the book is closer to Mint, than Very Fine. I certainly received at least what I paid for if not more. I would not hesitate to do business this seller again and I would recommend, without question, this seller to any prospective buyer.Close To The Wind An Extraordinary Story of Triumph over Adversity (#204031902471)
