It worked but I was not confident

My Mazda TCM came on schedule. Inside a padded envelope was a ripped up box taped....my first thought, these guy sent me a returned item. Who knows. I opened the box to find a very dirty TCM, black. Hummmmm...don't these guys know grime and dirt increase heat on electronics and cause them to fail? I cleaned the unit. They put a heat sync material on the bottom. One corner was not glued. It appeared that they had cut through the original rubber sealer and did a repair. I installed and it worked but they are a little more expensive than others on eBay and should send a clean, finished remanufactured part out. To be honest, I expect this TCM to fail the way it was sent out. I have bought remanufactured parts in the past and they look nearly new and clean. This operation is a bit ...

      • Worked great on our 2006 Mazda 3

Ran into the all-too-typical "transmission issues" on our 2006 Mazda 3, and the shops never seem to know what's going on. After researching it myself, I came across the "faulty TCM" which is a well-known issue. Instead of paying $500 for a new unit, I went with a remanufactured unit with a 1-year warranty. I also installed it myself, which took about 90 minutes and a 10mm socket. Not a beginner task, but I would've been disappointed in myself having a repair shop tackle it. There are some great YouTube videos that show what you need to do. Most importantly.... the transmission has been fine ever since! Not even a single issue has cropped up over the past two weeks. Awesome! Also, my core charge refund came through as promised.

      • Perfect Results, saved a Huge Dent in the Wallet Before Christmas. Recommend 5 Star.

I was Quoted 4500$ to replace my transmission, It fell into Limp mode stuck in 3rd. I did one Youtube search sitting in the Vehicle and found this Service. It took about 1 week to get the Part Refurbished and Programmed. So in total Expect to wait a Few Weeks for it to travel across the States.

      • Happy Customer

Replacement part functions a s a OEM would. With the one year warranty provided with purchase and the $100 plus savings in replacing a bad part that went bad due to an engineering flaw (improperly placed by design flaw-to much heat transfer) and the suggestion from the reman to place in a different location(to protect it from excessive heat} I am well pleased with the part and the intelligent response to avoid future damage. GOOD JOB !!!!

      • Awesome remanufactured TCM

I have a Mazda 3 with 238,000 miles and it was time to replace it after my TCM failed. A friend of mine told me where I could get another one from this great company named Module Repair Pro in Van Nuys Calif. They sent me another one and it was installed in minutes. Great company.
