      Not a card for newbies.

Listen, this is not a card for newbies to install. It was like going back to the nineties and plug and pray. With this one praying wasn't enough. To cut to the chase, eventually I had to connect with a good ole VGA cable, boot into Safe mode w/ networking, download the latest driver and install. Once I did that I was able to shut down, change out to an HDMI cable and start up. I had to clean out all the Radeon stuff still trying to run things and make sure that the old chipset wasn't trying to run by disabling it in the Device Manager. Other than that it was easy. I like the fact that now the video has 2GB of dedicated memory and the computer has a full 16GB of memory for itself. Not bad for $50.

    • Low Profile in non low profile Case Worked!

much to my disappointment I found out that the HP Compaq DC 5800 micro tower desktop computer is not built squarely. (happen with two PCs of same type)This means that if I use extension cards built for this size case I am unable to put the cover on my PC because part of the card protrudes when it is snapped in securely. I however have found a way around this problem: this time when buying my expansion video card I purposely chose a low profile one. This shortened the mounting bracket of the card and enough that I am now able to snap the side cover on my PC. Daina T Thank you so much for this product!

    • Good value card to run Skanect

I wanted to run Skanect software on an older SFF computer. This to import objects as 3d models using an Xbox Kinect. Skanect needs 90 CUDA cores to run with GPU enabled. For 50 USD, you are getting 192 CUDA cores! Skanect runs well now. The only improvement is to put a short manual in the box saying to download the drivers from NVIDIA. I think MSI assumes everybody knows to do this. Other than that, good job!

    • Provides dual screen ability

This item was purchased to provide dual screen capability in an older refurbished computer running windows 10 pro. We needed a half height slot at a reasonable price. After physically installing, went to device manager and asked it to update device driver which it proceeded to download and install! Worked great!

    • Wow

This little thing packs a good punch for the price. It allows you to light gaming even. If you have a old computer and wanna rejuvenate it to a decent state? This surely gets the job done.
