      Well Made DVDR

      This was a replacement for the same model I have used for many years. I would have bought a new one except these DVDR with Hard drive are not made anymore. I like the option to edit any recording before burning it to a DVD. I replaced my old DVDR because I accidentally broke a ribbon cable when I was soldering loose input connector.

      Replacement

      I've had one before which lasted for years and the DVD recorder was giving me a lot of trouble as it finally went out. The hard drive is good but it won't access it. I have to figure out how I can get the video off it.

      Philips DVDR with hard drive

      I have used this model for years. It is my fourth one. I will keep buying them as long as I can find them when I need another one. Great DVD recorder with pause live tv mode and hard drive. I record shows to watch later, then erase them. It will store 120 hours of video on the hard drive.

      If you don't have access to a TiVo this is just as good if not better. Machine works flawlessly even for its age. Possibly out living its design!!
