      simmons repair kit - good quality

      Bought this to fix one of our out door hydrants and it is holding up fine. Just bought another kit to fix a second one. Takes a little time to replace but had a neighbor help and everything went fine. A lot cheaper going this route than digging out the old hydrant and putting in a new one. Thanks and will buy the third one when our last spigot begins to leak.

      Worked perfectly, hydrant is like new

      With this kit I was able to rebuild my hydrant to like-new condition. The hydrant had been hard to operate, started to leak, and the rubber plunger tore off inside the pipe when I tried to disassemble it. I had to dig up the entire unit & reach in the bottom to remove the hunk of rubber. Once I got that out, though, I could see that the inside of the hydrant was in perfect condition. I installed this kit, set the rod length so the valve gently snaps shut when it is closed, and am now good to go. It actuates much more easily and, of course, doesn't leak any more.

      Yard Hydrant Repair

      This kit contains all the pieces you need to restore your hydrant to new condition. You will need a couple of large pipe wrenches to take the hydrant head off the stand pipe but installation of the kit is quick and easy.

      Everything needed to repair your old leaky simmons hydrant

      Very reasonably priced, it worked perfectly to stop my hydrant from leaking at both ends, saved me a lot of money compared to replacing the hydrant and was an easy fix after watching a couple of youtube videos.
