      Not as compatible as indicated.

      I could not figure out why the belt once installed was too long to work properly. It would not tighten enough to spin the working part of the trimmer. After researching, I found that the original belt size was 43.2 inches, not 44 inches that the 5027 Rotary Belt Compatible with Craftsman 169790 states. I had to add another pulley idler, which took a lot of work to make the 5027 belt work. I'll know to make sure of any future belt I might need to get the original equipment .

      It was not the compatible belt it indicated.

      It was the wrong belt for the High wheeled trimmer I have, although all information provided indicated it was compatible. It was too big and slightest resistance, i.e. a weed, terminated its effectiveness. It wasn't that expensive, so I did not return it.

      Larger than the original

      Thicker than the original. I had to bend the retaining bar to get the belt to fit. So far it is working.
