    Good piece of kit

    This appears to be the only jack pad that X8R sell for BMW models so I took a chance that it would be OK for my 118i. As it is, it fits the car jacking point perfectly, my only misgiving being that the depth of the insert portion may not be sufficient to prevent the weight of the car from resting on the rim of the plastic jacking point sockets, i.e. no discernible gap between the jacking point socket and the circular portion of the adaptor. I have got round this by cutting a piece of 3mm thick rubber to insert between the jacking point and the adaptor and I am now confident that no damage will occur to the jacking point when weight is on. Apart from that one misgiving, I am happy with the jack point adaptor - it seems a good solid item, reinforced with fabric and good value for money.

    High quality, well machined

    These work great. They fit perfectly into the jack pads, and appear to be made of hockey puck material which is durable. I have lifted my car with these, and can say they have saved a lot of headaches. Glad I bought them!
