    Eric Clapton, 461 Ocean BLVD

    This is an amazing album recorded during what I see as the peak of Eric Clapton's career. This album defiantly has a unique sound compared with other Slowhand albums. There is a very strong Reggae element in several songs (I shot the Sherriff, a Marley classic) and (Get Ready). Of course he covers classic blues songs as he does on virtually all his albums. (Willy and the hand Jive) and (Steady Rollin Man) are two good examples. Over-all this is a great album that can be listened to from start to finish, a great laid back sound perfect for putting your feet up. This may be defined as Clapton's best work, certainly standard listening material for any fan of Blues Rock.
