- r***n (50)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseNow yes, it works as advertised, but at least to my hearing, it just doesn’t seem quite as rich as a Bose Active Equalizer. I moved the jumpers to the 20mV position, which helped (tape loop hookup) but the equalization reminds me of the old days when you turned on the Dolby NR on a tape deck. Now remember, this is to my 61 year old ears. Your experience may be different. I can play with the filters/loudness on the receiver to dial in better sound, just not quite to my ears as good as the Bose EQ

Turns out after some fantastic customer service from George at deercreekaudio that my receiver was not working correctly. I returned it because my Bose EQ works but if it ever goes bad, I will reorder from Deer Creek Audio. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were. He took about 25 minutes of his time to walk me through different scenarios of trouble shooting.
