I have an early 066 model stihl chainsaw, my research led me to believe that parts for an 064 would fit. The part I got fit, but the ground wire is on the back side of the coil which grounded to the case. I modified it to work without grounding, then found I couldn't get the coil close enough for the correct air gap, once again I modified it to work. The chainsaw runs.

All seals that was order did not hold up to daily use. Had to screw a hole to remove it.

I'm sorry but the seals shown in the picture are not Proline .Our crankshaft oil seals are black Not orange/red please refer to our ad. It appears that your seal is a cheaply made China seal.
