It is cheap for a reason, and you should not expect it to perform above its price point.
I truly cannot understand all of the glowing reviews on these router bits, as this is the second one I've purchased that has failed to cut smoothly. The first one I ordered had rough machine marks along the carbide cutting surface, and produced a lot of chatter. The second one purchased, though markedly better in quality than the first, still is not a high quality bit. The cutting edge just does not compare in any way with higher dollar bits from other major brands. These bits are inexpensive, and they cut like inexpensive bits.
