    A well written book about a great football player well worth the money

    Recently I purchased a 2008 hardcover addition of " Sports Illustrated Brett Favre The Tribute" to add to my collection of Brett Favre "s collectibles . I have been a fan of his for many years as well as other top football players - this book provides amazing insight into his life as well as his love for the game. It allows the reader to see who he was as a man/husband who was dealing with not only his health problems but also trying to be supportive and help his wife through her cancer. In the book' Brett talks about showing up / doing his job on a daily bases while dealing with nagging injuries - he did not miss games due to injuries which over time lead to his addiction to pain killers which he received treatment for.     BRETT FAVRE: THE TRIBUTE by SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

    This book is full of stories from Sports Illustrated about Brett Favre's career as a Green Bay Packer quarterback. Gorgeous book full of stories and color photos that highlight and honor a tremendous athlete. The book is beautiful for a conversation starter in a football fan's home. It will likely be a collectible book as Brett Favre's retirement was a bittersweet moment for his fans. This book is still a nice tribute whether he is retired or not (new notice about the Jets was a pretty big surprise!).

    Great book...covers all the SI articles Favre was in as a Green Bay Packer. Any Favre/Packer fan would love the book & pictures. For $1.98 I could not beat the price.

    Brett Favre - The Tribute

    A fantastic book written through the eyes of folks that have been close to the man. Reading the excerpts was like being there. It made me feel good about being a true Favre fan. I hope he never retires but when he does, he will leave a hole in the heart of the NFL...
