    great filter

    this filter looks exactly the same as the O.E.M. Yamaha filter. and fits perfectly as well. after replacing the old yamaha filter with this one, i took the bike for a 40 mile ride. and it performs as good as always. the only way i could think of this filter to be inferior to a stok Yamaha filter is if the filter paper has different sized "pours" (holes) in it that would let more dust through. but no one makes that information available.
