The spin rate of this drive is 15k RPM, which provides high performance in mission critical applications. Along with the 15k RPM spindle speed, it has a 64MB cache, which results in sequential and random write performance that is very fast. The HGST Ultrastar (HUS156060VLS600) 15K600 hard drive also offers advanced power management that optimizes power consumption. This internal hard disk also features a Fluid Dynamic Bearing motor, a Rotational Vibration Safeguard, and load/unload technology, to give you the performance you need when you need it most. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing motor improves acoustics and has proven reliability. The Rotational Vibration Safeguard maintains drive performance in high rotational vibration environments and multi-drive systems. The load/unload technology minimizes handling damage during integration. It has a minimum operating temperature of 41 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum temperature of 131 degrees. The power consumption on this internal hard drive has been reduced by up to 31 percent, to reduce the cooling requirements in data centers. The statistical analysis system (SAS) is a software system that works together with a group of computer programs to store data value.
