Portability is ensured with the lightweight design and compact measurement of this DLP projector as it weighs a mere 14.3 lbs with dimensions of 7.9 x 16.8 x 16 inches. Its native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels ensures great picture quality as well as sharpness of display. Unlike some similar devices this projector is efficient in various types of lighting conditions. Having a brightness level of 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1 it helps deliver presentations that are clear regardless of how dim a room is. With an interactive whiteboard feature this NEC multimedia projector makes delivering presentations an exciting activity. Interactivity is made possible with the use of 3D technology. On top of its impressive features the NEC NP-U300X is an efficient user of energy which is a big factor in reducing the carbon footprint. Lamp life for this DLP projector can be extended with ECO ModeTM technology from 2500 hours to 3000 hours. Image quality on the NEC NP-U300X is less distorted due to the keystone correction feature. Almost no shadows are thrown from using this model due to the short throw lens with a throw ratio of 0.377:1. Furthermore control of the NEC multimedia projector over a network is a breeze plus there is no need to use the remote control making it a user-friendly device suitable for a variety of presentation settings.
