This unit exceeded my expectations. I had purchased a used D3200 with a less than perfect aftermarket grip that I managed to get to work with some finagling, but this unit solves all of the downsides of that one by offering 2 different battery types for power and a remote and I can finally use the vertical shutter release as well.
