A piece of plastic in the battery compartment broke off on the first remote I purchased which led to the batteries not always fully engaging and that's why I needed a replacement.

However, the seller was gracious about returning it.  I am confident that my refund will come after the seller rechecks the product for any possible shipping damage. Warning to buyers of used projectors: don’t go by the picture for the size! Get the manufacturers dimension specs if it’s not included in the eBay description!
