I had read a lot of reviews on portable DVD players before making my purchase. Most complained about the player skipping while the car was in motion. I just used the DVD player for the about 5 hours and it didn't skip once. The picture is clear and sound is good. I haven't used the second screen or other extras that came with it yet, but am sure they will be easy to use as well. The directions were very clear. If you live in a city with cold weather and want to be able to use the player right away when you get in the car, be sure to bring it inside for the night. It takes a while to warm up if you leave it in a cold (it was about 10 degrees) car for the night, but once it did warm up it worked perfectly. When I went on road trips; my daughter and the other two kids would ask millions of questions. Yeah I do not mind it but when I am trying ot listen to my music or hold a conversation; well it gets kind of annoying. After purchasing a pair of these DVD players, I find myself constantly checking to make sure I brought the kids with me.lol. Not only that but the color of both screens are crisp and clear and easy to see. The clarity of the volume is easy to hear and my daughter LOVES them. I would deffinitly recommend these to everyone. The screens are not too big or small so you do not have to worry about the bulkyness. i do recommend a pair of headphones though if you are a big music fan as I am. What a piece of JUNK!!!!!
The only reason I gave this product a poor rating is because I can't give it a worse rating. Worst piece of Junk I have ever purchased. On our first trip after installing this piece of junk, it quit after 5 minutes. had to restart player over and over and over due to it constantly stopping and the screen going blank. Tried numerous dvds. Didn't matter. It worked equally bad each and every time. Wouldn't even recommend this product to my mother in law. Polaroid really put out a 1st class piece of junk here. They should be ashamed to have their names on it. You couldn't pay me to take another one!!!!!The only reason I gave this product a poor rating is because I can't give it a worse rating. My wife and I broke down and got a mini van:( So I tried to spruce it up with some extras. We have four kids that are impossible on trips so we agreed on a DVD player. We looked at all the retail stores and compared that to Ebay and the retailers couldn't come close to Ebay. So when we found a dual screen dvd player for under $90 bucks we jumped on it and I would say it gets used about every day! The kids love it, we love done deal. I liked the price and the rush on getting the player. I bought it for one of my sons teachers; she has kids and has no time to her self on throad to and from school and we thought this would help her(she needed it). I had to return one; it never worked on the second screen. They refunded me my money and the second one makes loud sounds and freezes on most tapes at various times, but... You get what you pay for as they say!I liked the price and the rush on getting the player.
