NICE looking and works as intended

Cheaply made toaster - should not cost more than $20.
The toaster is cheaply built for the price close to $50. Outside it getting extremely hot and you can burn yourself very easily. The slider is about 1/2" sticking out - the metal-rod clearly to see - not a good design. Toaster tills also very easily to the side of the slider when you push the slider down because the unit is very light - holding the toaster with your thumb to push the slider down for a second session - will burn you thumb. Toaster makes a loud metal noise when finished that wakes you up. I got a message that this KRUPS toaster has been designed in Germany and made in CHINA. I can only believe the part about CHINA and can't imagine that KRUPS is living now only of their good old name.
