I bought this mini lathe and have been using it daily for a few weeks. Here is what you need to know: 1100W (not 550W) motor, METAL gears for both metric & SAE supplied, Pass-thru head is 38mm(1.5") not 20mm/3/4", 125mm 3-jaw chuck 2-sets of jaws, tool holder will hold up to 12mm tools, 10mm is ideal height, oil ports already on this machine, good bed length, ways are good and solid H style (not I) will cut metric and SAE threads. has reverse. Doesn't come with cutters, but has decent tool set.
