    Best bargain for an Intel processor out there.

    I bought this as part of a low-cost upgrade for my system, along with a basic aftermarket motherboard (Gigabyte). This thing only gets up to about 45°C at full capacity when installed properly, so be sure to disable the temperature throttling and speedstepping for best performance (use a freeware processor performance tweaking program if your motherboard can't do it in the BIOS). Once you do that, it's a great bargain. Much better performance than expected, considering the cost. A big step up from the Core 2 Duo of the same speed, which is what I had before this. My only wish is that it were overclock-able, considering that it only uses about 1/3 of it's rated wattage (again, at full capacity). So overall, great choice for economy, if maximum performance is not your top priority.

    Original, cheap, working as expected.

    CPU was used, but undamaged. It perform well. Packaging was not original, but good enough for CPU to survive shipping. Really great for the money.

    Intel has a winner

    Integrated graphics sufficient for general use with the appropriate MOBO. Speed is more than adequate for general use computing with two physical cores. Energy Saver compared to 775/1156 processors of similar performance. May be capable of early generation game engine processing and newer games on super-low settings. Will support newer type of RAM designed for the SB chip-sets that 1156 set-ups will not support and larger capacity memory per slot. Excellent price point for Intel and any CPU as far as that goes.

    Fast, efficient, excellent value for the money!

    I purchased this for my HTPC. It's perfect for this application! It's fast, decent built-in graphics, and it runs cool with the included low-profile cooler. It has yet to slow down, running Windows 7 64bit. I can definitely recommend this processor for anyone on a budget. The Pentium equivalent(s) are a waste of money.
