So had a problem, with delivery but this was not the sellers fault turns out it was carriers fault , seller was gracious and assisted best they could and was very honest, which I am grateful for! Very good with communication and very well packaged. Item received as described and promised. my Apologies for the eBay case as I never had an item issue in past, but this seller was gracious and understanding, and dealt with it accordingly. will definitely recommend them and will save.!

  • WARNING - DO NOT BUY an iPronto

This is more of a Warning regarding these remotes. These remotes were cutting edge back in the day, and they had a lot of features, which is proabbly the reason they are still sought after. BUT, and this is where the waringin comes in, The iProtnto has been discontinued, and support fro it from Philips is non-existent. This wouldn't be so bad, if the remote didn't rely on communication with Philips servers. First and foremost, this remote has a WiFi card inside it, which can only connect to a 802.11b 2.4Ghz router/AP.If you can manage to get it to connect to your network, consider yourself lucky. More often than not, it can't. Then there's the issue of unstable software., which will require the user to do a hard reboot/reset in order to restart a frozen remote. DO this enough ...

  • A real sleeper

Bought this to replace another one that quit. Able to transfer my several hours of programming into the new one. Cool because of the size of the screen. No longer supported by Philips, buyer beware! A lot of support in the forums at Remote Central. When they work they are more fun than a barrel of monkeys! You can use a digital camera to shoot pictures and make your own buttons! I use it with a bunch of X10 stuff and have actual pictures of the fans/lights etc. as the buttons. Battery life is horrible, you will probably just leave it plugged in all the time. The EPG is also no longer supported. There ia an outfit that will repair these for a flat $350., the name escapes me. Cheaper to just buy another used one. These were $1600. new and never ended up doing all the things Philips promised ...
