Known defect of the adhesive
There have been other complaints about the adhesive coming straight off the plastic film when trying to apply the stomp pad, it also happened to me. The stomp pad itself seems to be good quality. I ended up permanently sticking the stomp pad to my snowboard with clear epoxy instead; which might actually have been better since the adhesive on the plastic film doesn't look like it would do a good job keeping the stomp pad on the board anywayThere have been other complaints about the adhesive coming straight off the plastic film when trying to apply the stomp pad, it also happened to me. Brutally medieval grip spikes for secure grip!
Tall & sharp spikes will work well for grip especially in powder. the two sides are raised/beveled fore and aft, contoured for better grip. This stomp pad is a little on the heavy side, considering that I am coming off of a board that for several years I ran no stomp pad whatsoever, I will more than likely cut off the contoured beveled outside rows of spikes to reduce some weight & it should still offer ample grip with the remaining rows.Tall & sharp spikes will work well for grip especially in powder. the two sides are raised/beveled fore and aft, contoured for better grip.
