Pretty good game
Thought it was a bit cheesy at first but turning out to be an interesting, engaging game. It has its annoying points, the map sucks and the npc's incessantly hassle you but, oh well. I like the free range type games and this one doesn't quite compare to shadow mordor or AC in that respect but its still pretty good.

First off, this is an absolutely great game, and is a must have no matter what. There are drawbacks however.... -5 hour story if that, well if you are good, and it is very easy to beat, hardly a final boss. Having a wife is irritating, and it is too easy to be fully good or fully evil. You are a GOD way too fast, no one can match you within an hour or 2 of playing. AND IT IS FAR TOO EASY TO BECOME SUPER FAT IN THE GAME BE WARNED IT IS HARD TO BECOME THIN AGAIN. pretty tedious mini games for jobs. become a millionaire pretty fast Overall it doesn't have the mystical feeling that the first Fable had that captured all of it's fans, and this game would have been great 2 years ago, however there have been such massive RPG's to come out in the last year, that Fable 2 basically didn't ... Fable II - Come on, guys, it wasn't bad.
So many of my friends kept saying, "Fable II is terrible! It's no different than the first one." Uh, yeah it is. It's just as different from the first one as Oblivion is from Morrowind. Are you going to complain about Elder Scrolls? Better not. There's a new story, new sidequests, new weapons, new features, just the same style of game. If it were a completely different game, why call it Fable II? Why not make a completely new game? Another complaint I heard a lot was the length of the game. I've put about 20 hours into it and haven't gotten the DLC yet. That is plenty. Left 4 Dead was a short game. This is only a short game if you rush through it and do nothing but the main quest. Slow down and enjoy it. Plus there's 3 achievements that encourage you to play the game 3 times. Now, the ... So many of my friends kept saying, "Fable II is terrible! Now, the story is awesome. Bad guy kills sister, you want revenge, but you're about 8. What are you going to do? Well, train and when you're older, kill him of course. Now, obviously there's details thrown in there that make it a good story. Plus, if you played the first one, you'll notice the little references to it. The ability to learn skills is another sweet addition. The skills are cool and are fun to play around with. I do have a complaint. Two actually. The first is the co-op. The camera is terrible and makes it unplayable. The second is the lack of boss battles. Fable had plenty of boss battles. Twinblade, that thing with the tenticles, Jack of Blades, Jack of Blades in his dragon form. Fable II had no good boss battles. The ending is very anticlimatic, but I can get over that and keep playing it. Overall, it's a great RPG for any Xbox 360 libary. If you like RPG's, I'd check it out.

As with any Peter Molyneux game, the promised things that were supposed to be included in the game never actually materialize in the epic and profound way gamers expect. I use this somewhat poor (but somewhat correct) comparison: I expect Lionhead games to be slightly less than they are hyped to be, much as I expect Bioware games to deliver (and more) what they are marketed to deliver. The single most irritating lack is the suddenly disappearing promised coop gameplay. That leaves a fun, beautiful, acoustically amazing, and often humorous RPG world coupled with a bland (and forgettable) storyline, lack of character depth, and obnoxious "little" quirks. Like the map. Or bugs -- game freezing, graphical abnormalities, NPCs being unresponsive, the inability to complete the main story and/or ... Patches are probably on the way, but the package as it is shipped leaves a bit to be desired. What makes this further irritating is the fact that many of the same issues general issues that plagued the original Fable remain. If you can overlook some of the inherent problems, I think you'll enjoy the experience a lot more -- enter the world of Fable II without Peter Molyneux-esque expectations and you won't feel the urge to hunt him down and pummel him for again (as usual) not delivering the scope of the envisioned product. And if it still bothers you, just remember that at the very least Peter Molyneux isn't Derek Smart. This review is somewhat disparaging, but I don't want it to come across as if I didn't enjoy the game -- I did. It's just not exactly the game I'd gun for if I were looking for an RPG or adventure game. If one were approaching this somewhat more neutrally, you'd probably want to pick up Dead Space, Mass Effect (and Ninja Gaiden II or DMC4 if you enjoy the action aspect) or even Lost Odyssey before you touch this title.

A very good games in general but lack of somethings....
Fable 2 has been one of the anticipate game back in 2008. It is a very good game in every aspect. The game is not a very difficult game but a very enjoyable ride. The reason I am not giving this game a five stars. It is lack of polish. Yeah, Lack of polish. The game graphic is looking very nice when you stop and take a look at the environments and artist design. But when you play the game with running, and in motion. The graphic will look very very blurry. I guess that Lionhead want to keep the game smooth without dropping the framerate. But it kinda bother some of the hardcore graphic audience like myself. The gameplay is very good. Every action is easy, just the push of bottom, kinda reminds me of "smash up" type of game. But it is still fun. However, the interactive element between ... However, the interactive element between you and citizens are very fake. There is so blank in this emotion element. You will forget why you marry her/him or even why I have to interact with citizens. BEWARE, if you are achievement whore, like me. Keep in mind that, it is very very difficult to get all the achievements in game. For example, getting all the dolls and getting a chicken suit are very very annonying because each copy of fable 2 only contain one dolls. You need 6 dolls to get that achievements. The only way to get it is go online and trade with other people. But the game point only worth as 10 points. So what the F? anyway, The game is good, just I am very picky about certain things in game. But I would still recommended this game for everybody if you buy in low price, like here, ebay. Yayh
