One of the hinge of the lid was broken when it came. There was no debris in the box, which means it came like that from the manufacturer. Sale Canada owned this mistake and took care of this issue and sent me a new lid that I was able to install easily, they even provided the screw, nut and cap to hide the screw, even if I already had them from the original lid.     Great coffee at a cheap price

    Have only been using this coffeemaker for a few weeks, but so far I'm impressed. Does just what I need, no more, no less. You have obviously read all the features and so far they all work as advertised. Only have one very minor complaint: When brewing a 10 cup pot, the amount of coffee in the basket filter I need to make a nice strong (I use the "bold" setting) brew sometimes has a tendency to splash over the edge, putting some grounds in the pot. Not a big deal until you want that last bit from the bottom of the pot.

    Good basic coffee maker. Every thing works, easy to use and program, only negative is that the digital display is "not lit", cannot see it in the dark as to what time it is, how it is programmed, what Brew selection was chosen, etc. Reminds me of my Mr. Coffee unit I just replaced after 9-yrs. If this one lasts as long, then its a great value!
