Talked to their tech support, and they assured me the item received would work in my R930, and performance hit of 1 vs 2 channel would not be noticeable. Kept the item, while it does work, it runs at an unexpected clock speed (1600MHz), when 1866MHz was expected (1866MHz is max in R930).
