    Easy to upgrade RAM

    Increased RAM to 6GB, and gave the unit to a worthy soul. In some ways the 17 inch 2007 model may be better than the vastly-more-expensive 2011 or 2012 models. The last-year model (2012... or was it 2011?) is lighter and faster, but the visual text size is small than my 2013 15.4 inch MacBook Pro.... and think 2007 is also greater (in visual size) than the 2011 2012 model. Bought the 2011 model 17 incher. Great machine, except for that default-small-visual text size. Granted, one can enlarge it, but the 'default' remains the same, no matter Accessibility adjustments.
