    Bridge improved the action on my banjolele

    I bought this 1/2" bridge to lower the action (distance from frets to strings) of my banjolele (banjo ukulele) which was a little too high with the original bridge. It worked as expected. I did find that the tiny slots in the bridge for the strings seem to be cut for steel strings, not the thicker nylon strings that are on my banjolele. Because of that, a string sometimes slipped out of the slot while I strummed. I solved the problem easily by using a small triangular file to slightly deepen the bridge slots. Now they're perfect. I'd recommend this bridge to anyone with a similar desire to improve the action of their instrument. The bridge arrived quickly, in good condition, packaged well to avoid damage.
