Shaft arrived and then sheared off was either damaged from storage or postage and the seller is trying to say it’s my fault for not changing the bearing that I changed

The Propshaft didn't arrive damaged. You purchased the item over 6 weeks ago and you claim you only drove 10 miles before it sheared in half. Total nonense! You sent eBay messages saying you was going to open a claim through Paypal. The item wasn't fitted properly for it to fall off and be driven over and ripped in two pieces as you can see from your pictures. It wasn't damaged from storage in anyway otherwise you would have opened a return within the 30 Day return period which you never done!
