Hard to follow along with the steps, not really user-friendly, but fun.
Bought this to get more flexible and lose some weight. I like that it is based on actual dance moves (Calypso, etc.) but the "instructor" does not explain the moves, she just expects you to follow along and "get it" as you go. If I just stand there with the Move control in my belt and shake my hips vigorously enough, she tells me I'm doing great and moves on to the next step. That is another problem with this program: even if I'm not getting the move right, the instructor tells me I'm doing great and steps up the tempo or adds on the next dance step, and I'm lost. I'd prefer if the instructor actually explained what she's doing ("change weight to the back foot, pivot here, swing hips there," etc.) and also have a minimum time of working each series of steps before moving on to the next ... Love the game, great way to workout and have fun at the same time.
I love everything about this game except the expert mode. There is beginner, intermediate, and expert mode however the only dancer in the expert mode is a man. They don't give you an option to choose a man or a woman as a dancer in any mode you choose. Not only that but the expert mode isn't even that hard, in fact I'd say the easiest song is in the expert mode and the hardest song is in intermediate mode. So, in short I felt insulted by the game developers decision to include men ONLY in the expert mode and women ONLY in the beginner and intermediate mode.I love everything about this game except the expert mode. Fun to play and Great exercise!!!
Good game and fun to play plus great exercise!!! Will be used for years to come. Fun for all ages and gives you some pretty good dance moves too. I bought it because my wife was spending 4 bucks a night twice a week doing this I a class. I figured for under 40 bucks she can stay home and save the money and gas. Times are tough and every little bit helps. She says it is just like the class but even better that she is not self conscious around 50-70 other people.Good game and fun to play plus great exercise!!! Will be used for years to come. fun....but hard
it's fun-but hard. i have fun using it as an exercise program, but if you are playing it as a game, i find the camera and move controller don't really sync well-there are time i'm standing still and it gives me credit and other times i'm doing the right thing and it doesn't know. i also find the controller falls out of the belt.
