The more you watch it, the funnier it gets.

Good cast, and very stupid, but funny! If you know the classic Bruce Lee movie "Enter the Dragon", it follows the theme closely. I loved it!

  • Classic FunFest !!

'Balls of Fury' is a purgatory-pleasure of absurd, borderline offensive fun that will have you laughing and gasping in offended-comic schlock at the same time !! Christopher Walken provides yet another opportunity to ply his eccentric shtick as the Villain set in the "Cutthroat World of Ping-Pong". - Yes, "Ping-Pong !! Feel the smiles starting on your faces; they will only grow. 'Balls of Fury' represents a new hilarious attack in the gross-out comedy category following obscure low-grade sports & events; driven by talented casts for classic genre newcomers with laugh-spewing classics, like 'Dodgeball' and "Beerfest". Walken provides some of many amusing moments in this film, "written" by Garant and Thomas Lennon, who previously installed 'Reno 911!: Miami' on us this year. Dressed like a ...

  • Balls of Fury (DVD, 2007, Widescreen)

I attended a preview screening of this movie in 2007 before it was publicly released and enjoyed it then. I bought it this summer primarily because I was going to be spending some time with James Hong and had enjoyed his performance as the blind ping pong master -- and also because it was available for a good price on eBay. I'm not going to describe the plot in detail -- others have, and you can find all the details elsewhere. Suffice it to say that it is a parody of all those martial arts movies in which the hero has to overcome seemingly impossible odds to kill the person who killed his father. The big difference is that instead of Asian martial arts the form of combat in "Balls of Fury" is ping pong. There are some surprises and unpredictable twists and turns in the action within the ...

  • Balls of Fury

    * Table tennis with the stylus works really well * Battling the CPU is fun for a while * Multiplayer mode lets you compete against your local friends * You can play ping pong as Christopher Walken. The Bad * Graphics and audio don't exude much energy * You may need to take advantage of multiplayer to feel you got your money's worth. Game Details | About Our Rating System Whether or not you enjoyed the recent motion picture, the video game rendition of Balls of Fury for the Nintendo DS is actually quite agreeable. The movie's goofy characters and lame story are merely window dressing for a table tennis game that's easy to pick up and quite a bit of fun. Spanning the system's two screens is a vibrant, though plain representation of a ping pong table. Your opponents and their half of ...

  • Previews looked like it might be a little funny. It was not.

I sometimes enjoy goofball comedies, and I really like Christopher Walken so I gave it a shot. It just came up short, and Chris couldn't save it either. I'd have been better off passing on this one.
