Handy for tinkering and thin metals
This thing is three taps in one for three of the most common SAE screw sizes, 6-32, 8-32, and 10-24 and looks like a screwdriver. Because of this, it fits in holsters or toolboxes that might not be so accommodating to a regular tap set. Or maybe you're on top of a ladder and need to clear the paint out of a threaded hole. Reach for this thing instead of fiddling with a tap handle and bits.
