    Small, no noise at all, great convenient integrated switch ports

    It has a small footprint, almost no noise, 8 switching ports. Great for configurations like router on a stick and vlans.

    Great CCNA training device

    These are perfect little routers for those pursuing their CCNA training and don't wan't to deal with the limitations of something like Packet Tracer. As for the devices, they are dead quiet while running minus about one second of fan during POST when the device is turned on, which I assume is doing a fan test. The rollover cables are handy, but you probably want to consider buying a serial to USB adaptor if you don't have any devices around with a serial port. And yes, these seem to be the "K9" 12.4(24)T8 (and T4) firmware version. Great for zone based firewall practice and IPSEC, among other things.
