    An oddly entertaining movie

    Ben Stiller plays Roger Greenberg and Greta Gerwig plays Florence Marr his brother's assistant in this sometimes funny but mostly an attempt at portraying true life. Greenberg is a New Yorker who has moved to Los Angeles in an attempt to figure out his life while housesitting for his brother (Chris Messina) shortly after arriving he starts to have feelings for Florence. The two begin having a very romance. During this time his brothers dog gets sick and his niece arrives home and throws a wild party for her friends, then leaves. The movie reminds me of a lot of the older Woody Allen movies. The humor is not in funny punchlines or silly antics but is rather hidden in the life story being told by the characters. Anyone who knows Ben Stiller's type of humor will love this ...
