This thing is awesome! While not an official Weller or Radio Shack product it's good for the price but more importantly, it works very well. I dare say flawless. Better than two desoldering pumps/guns I have used over the years, and no need to clean. Just splat the solder onto a disposable surface like a piece of cardboard.
This is great for quickly recovering components from PCBs, many things just fall off the board. Can be done with one hand. Many in Tawain, not China as well.

I ordered this Zenith from Childhood Radio but when it arrived here in Australia after being sent via the Global Shipping Program upon opening the parcel the contents had water or some liquid in the box, the paperwork was ruined and the packing round the radio was sodden. I contacted Ron and sent him photos to let him be aware of what the Global shipping program had done to his parcel. Ron offered a refund straight away but Ebay interfered in the process and caused problems. Ron though was good
