Synopsis
The United States Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, RI, originally built as a Neutrality Patrol Seaplane Base, eventually became a unique and fundamentally important asset to the American armed forces. In World War II, more than one half of all U-boats sunk by U.S. aviation - including the first two - were destroyed by Quonset-trained shore and carrier-based squadrons. In the years following World War II, Quonset remained a premier industrial naval air station, sending squadrons or overhauling equipment for us in the Korean, Vietnam, and Cold War conflicts. For thirty-four years and through four wars, the Quonset Point Naval Air Station stood proud and tall on behalf of the United States military.

    The books are beautiful and the seller is fantastic! When the shipping company misdirected the package, I contacted the seller right away and he responded quickly and was very helpful. The package was still delivered within the expected shipping time. The books were wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and arranged very well in the box. I would trust the seller to ship me glass. The books are definitely new and worth more than we paid. I couldn't complain about this experience if I wanted to.

    The product was as advertised. The delivery must've been by mule train though since it came 8 days later than expected. That's not the seller's fault though. It's the USPS's fault. I did think the shipping was a too high though. 20% of cost for shipping by mule is too much.
