    Great film DISAPPOINTING DVD PACKAGE

    After the original 1995 "Toy Story" the 1 that started Disney/Pixar collaborations. Film fans know the history of "Toy Story 2". Originally it was to be a straight to video release BUT the film was so good they released it in theaters. They did the right thing. A great film, memorable characters. They introduced Jessie & Bullseye in this film. I am NOT a big Jessie fan. Thought the character was just too loud. Buzz Lightyear is my favorite. The flaw, still NOT a Randy Newman fan. We ALL know the reason for this March 2010 DVD release was to promote the June 2010 release of "Toy Story 3". For fans this DVD release is a let down. YOU WILL DO MUCH BETTER WITH THE 2005 2 DISC DVD PACKAGE. GO FIND 1 OF THOSE, THIS EDITION IF YOU WANT EXTRAS IS A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Only 1 disc ...

    Such a great movie

    Back when this movie came out in theaters, I went to see this movie with my family and we loved it. The animation & objects were accurate, the story is written well and the voices are done very well. Woody tries to save his friend Wheezy from a yard sale and a toy collector Al steals Woody, his friends Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Slinky, Ham and Mrs. Potato Head were off to a toy store "Al's Toy Barn" to save Woody. Woody meets 3 new friends Jesse, Bullseye and Stinky Pete (The Prospector) who are from an old tv show "Woody's Roundup," Woody founds out he was a famous toy back in the 50's. I bought this on DVD, because I had a copy of this on VHS and it was gone missing. Overall this is one of the best movies in my list. I recommend this DVD to your DVD collection.

    Great Family movie.

    Rarely do we find animated movies to watch as a family, but toy story has always been a favorite. I think that the toys sentiment to the owners is what draws so much attention from children. It helps open up their imagination when they play with their own toys and this is critical in children. Kids need to experience childhood and this movie opens up that avenue. I highly recommend all three toy stories as a purchase for any family. The movies will never get dusty on the entertainment shelf.
